ARNAVUTKÖY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fnTch FC the free kick. A collision led to ARNAVUTKÖY getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hayati Mehdi hit a great ball. Gheorghe Zdrobăus short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Serter Karahan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nuh Yenisey lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 17th match minute, fnTch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuh Yenisey to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, fnTch FC's goalkeeper Serter Karahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Ciutacu. Serter Karahan stood somewhat misplaced when Gheorghe Zdrobău came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 21 minute. After having played for 27 minutes, John Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fnTch FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Björklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gheorghe Zdrobău managed to get in a good position for a shot. ARNAVUTKÖY's supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghe Zdrobău was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serter Karahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, John Björklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Ciutacu got free with Serter Karahan in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When fnTch FC's John Björklund in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ARNAVUTKÖY's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orbay Kunt to make the kick off. John Björklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Fernando Kahn made a huge save. The supporters of fnTch FC booed when ARNAVUTKÖY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzhan Sökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Björklund in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If John Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ARNAVUTKÖY fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. fnTch FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
