ETİLİ SPOR's Yağız İmamoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Sekib in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, ETİLİ SPOR's Costică Purcaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oktay Toydeniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of GenPo booed when ETİLİ SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ateş Vefalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nihat Baransel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gürsel Ballıoğlu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 92 minutes in the game Gürkan Hünkar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mansur Tun. After 93 played minutes GenPo got a freekick which was hit by Bumin Reca. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GenPo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
