Yağız İmamoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alim Hünkar's late challenge caught a ETİLİ SPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The crowd rose to their feet as Costică Purcaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nejat Taşboğa. That made the score 1-2 in the 29 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ETİLİ SPOR's Ateş Vefalı got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Zikri Hikmet got in the 43rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Yağız İmamoğlu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Erbaaspor's Ditlef Garrouj got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zikri Hikmet took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yağız İmamoğlu. Yağız İmamoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Nejat Taşboğa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Purcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Zikri Hikmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes ETİLİ SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Baybora Devlettin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zikri Hikmet in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yağız İmamoğlu saved ETİLİ SPOR from getting behind. Costică Purcaru took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nejat Taşboğa. Nejat Taşboğa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5.
