Lütfi Şevki's late challenge caught a GenPo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lütfi Şevki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Izmit's Lütfi Şevki got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Izmit got a freekick which was hit by Cemalettin Uçman. After having played for 17 minutes, Aycan Dölek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izmit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aycan Dölek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Naylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiz Kuddusi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceyhun Acarbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Oktay Toydeniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Baykal Beksan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GenPo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izmit the free kick. 江鸿威 kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 江鸿威 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oktay Toydeniz. GenPo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, GenPo's goal looked a bit too open when 江鸿威 came free, but Oktay Toydeniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 江鸿威 in the 34th minute of play forced GenPo's goalkeeper Oktay Toydeniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when 姚崇松 put in a rough tackle. 姚崇松 kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Izmit's goalkeeper Adam Naylor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baykal Beksan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 江鸿威 in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oktay Toydeniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 江鸿威 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adam Naylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiz Kuddusi in the 56th minute of the match. The throw-in from Neşat Baydar in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GenPo's Bumin Reca. The supporters of Izmit booed when GenPo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bumin Reca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulaş Sekib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Naylor having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Aycan Dölek fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oktay Toydeniz, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiz Kuddusi in the 76th minute of play forced Izmit's goalkeeper Adam Naylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aycan Dölek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Izmit got a freekick which was hit by Cemalettin Uçman. Oktay Toydeniz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aycan Dölek sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle went the supporters of Izmit were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant GenPo side.
