Neşat Baydar hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Izmit's goal looked a bit too open when Adis Jahovic came free, but Adam Naylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Naylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencer Bozbora in the 23rd minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 minutes, Kenan Denizcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Izmit and the Fc Beşiktaş players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adis Jahovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eşref Neşet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Naylor came out and tried to block the shot, but Eşref Neşet slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Fc Beşiktaş's Adis Jahovic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adam Naylor. Adam Naylor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adis Jahovic got free with Adam Naylor in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adis Jahovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Adam Naylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gencer Bozbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Naylor having to interfere. The Izmit fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Beşiktaş were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
