Gürbüz Zeyrek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bent Mørkved, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Gürbüz Zeyrek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabricio Cordairo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Cordairo in the 14th minute of play forced Göynük FK's goalkeeper Gürbüz Zeyrek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Bent Mørkved ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürbüz Zeyrek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gürbüz Zeyrek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Cordairo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, besiktASK's goal looked a bit too open when Birkan Korkutalp came free, but Caner Uğuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to besiktASK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eralp Savlet hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Göynük FK's goal looked a bit too open when Garip Tükelalp came free, but Gürbüz Zeyrek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Garip Tükelalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bent Mørkved fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Zeyrek having to interfere. Gürbüz Zeyrek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bent Mørkved in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Oğuzalp Onurhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göynük FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave besiktASK the free kick. The supporters of besiktASK booed when Göynük FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzalp Onurhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Göynük FK's Müjdat Özoğuz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gürbüz Zeyrek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Cordairo in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Göynük FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bent Mørkved came free, but Gürbüz Zeyrek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute of the match, Fabricio Cordairo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gürbüz Zeyrek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when Fabricio Cordairo in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gürbüz Zeyrek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garip Tükelalp in the 70th minute of play. besiktASK were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Göynük FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Güngör Uğuray took the corner. besiktASK's Güngör Uğuray was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gürbüz Zeyrek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Göynük FK's Gürbüz Zeyrek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Göynük FK from getting a goal against them. Caner Uğuralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Asım Satıbey's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Göynük FK's zone, Bent Mørkved stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürbüz Zeyrek came out of the goal and Bent Mørkved tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bent Mørkved received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gürbüz Zeyrek came out and tried to block the shot, but Bent Mørkved slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 92nd minute. besiktASK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
