Elias De Araujo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Umur Peker scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vefa Doğu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Dinu Coșereanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vefa Doğu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Chu in the 29th minute of play. Ali Kağan Seyhan in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enes Koçaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Umur Peker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Archie Chu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vefa Doğu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Archie Chu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Des Härma in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MALATYASPOR's Dinçer Zeyrek. Tahir İren charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahir İren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enes Koçaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Kağan Seyhan in the 42nd minute. Ali Kağan Seyhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Enes Koçaş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ali Kağan Seyhan put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Enes Koçaş. In the 56th minute, Archie Chu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th match minute, MALATYASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umur Peker to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ali Kağan Seyhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOODFELLAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Kağan Seyhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enes Koçaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enes Koçaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kağan Seyhan in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of GOODFELLAS booed when MALATYASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahir İren didn't get a good kick on the ball. GOODFELLAS's Ali Kağan Seyhan managed to work through MALATYASPOR's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ali Kağan Seyhan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Dinçer Zeyrek hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. MALATYASPOR made a substitution. Ahmet Korcan Ramiz replaced Bora Han Uçman. MALATYASPOR's Cankut Zağanos was substituted for Dinçer Zeyrek. Dinçer Zeyrek kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Enes Koçaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kağan Seyhan in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, GOODFELLAS's Vefa Doğu got control of the ball when Umur Peker tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Dinu Coșereanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enes Koçaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tahir İren got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 73rd minute, Tahir İren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 74th minute of the match Umur Peker completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Umur Peker a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes MALATYASPOR got a freekick which was hit by Umur Peker. When Ali Kağan Seyhan fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOODFELLAS's protests and gave Ali Kağan Seyhan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GOODFELLAS's Ali Kağan Seyhan got a free kick in the 81st minute. Zülfü Erincer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th match minute, MALATYASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zülfü Erincer to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Des Härma in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MALATYASPOR's Cankut Zağanos. If Zülfü Erincer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The MALATYASPOR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MALATYASPOR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
