Hüseyin Cahit Safih might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ersan Sıraç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hüseyin Cahit Safih ran back to his position shaking his head. Muş Spor's Ersan Sıraç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Yahya Cihaner in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes AksaraySpor-68 got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Zekai. Artun Süvari kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ahmet Yahya Cihaner managed to get in a good position for a shot. AksaraySpor-68's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Yahya Cihaner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ersan Sıraç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Hamdi Sargınal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Rene Lucila came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the AksaraySpor-68 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Lucila couldn't finish the play. Ersan Sıraç came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by AksaraySpor-68's Hüseyin Cahit Safih. But to his dismay, Hüseyin Cahit Safih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ersan Sıraç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Yahya Cihaner in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Muş Spor defense, Hüseyin Cahit Safih kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ersan Sıraç. The Muş Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ersan Sıraç should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, AksaraySpor-68's goalkeeper Mehmet Ferit İlkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cevat Totuk. Mehmet Ferit İlkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Hatim in the 41st minute of play. Ersan Sıraç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Ben Adjani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half AksaraySpor-68 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yahya Kemal Hatim to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Ferit İlkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Hatim, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ersan Sıraç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Yahya Cihaner in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Yahya Kemal Hatim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ferit İlkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Cahit Safih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Muş Spor's Celal Kurtuluş got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ersan Sıraç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Ben Adjani, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Muş Spor booed when AksaraySpor-68 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Özdener didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hüseyin Cahit Safih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Muş Spor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AksaraySpor-68 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
