Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haldun Onay started the match with the kick off. When Haldun Onay came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Bursalona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haldun Onay couldn't finish the play. Bahadır Doğanay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çetin Teber in the 8th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Enver Özdeğer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bursalona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Askale the free kick. In the 15th minute, Enver Özdeğer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Şimşek Tur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 20th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vefa Sümeroğlu to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes of play, Bursalona's Murathan İcabi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murathan İcabi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Halis Şensoy having to make a save. Haldun Onay took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Mehmet Halis Şensoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mehmet Halis Şensoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haldun Onay, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murathan İcabi in the 36th minute of play forced Askale's goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Şensoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kutluay Hekimbaşı during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutluay Hekimbaşı to maneuver through the defense. In the 45thth minute of the game Haldun Onay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Askale's Mehmet Halis Şensoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Kutluay Hekimbaşı made the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Halis Şensoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murathan İcabi went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Murathan İcabi scored 7-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Halis Şensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haldun Onay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Şimşek Tur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Bursalona's Murathan İcabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Halis Şensoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Haldun Onay put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Haldun Onay sped through Askale's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. The supporters of Askale booed when Bursalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enver Özdeğer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kutluay Hekimbaşı kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Ahmet İlke İzzet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Askale and the Bursalona players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Ahmet İlke İzzet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Haldun Onay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Şimşek Tur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
