Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alperen Turhan ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Star State Warriors's Mehmet Emre Münir got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Aktan Hazret shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Bedri Nuralp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Star State Warriors's Yetkiner Oğuzman got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezmi Ugraş in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Bedri Nuralp saved Star State Warriors from getting behind. After 14 minutes, Cezmi Ugraş made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Star State Warriors's Ahmet Bedri Nuralp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Cezmi Ugraş put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Bedri Nuralp. Özgür Aydıntan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cezmi Ugraş struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for US Città di Palermo. Erdem Sonay charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erdem Sonay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Erdem Sonay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ata Türk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Temel Tuğaltay in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Cezmi Ugraş managed to get in a good position for a shot. US Città di Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezmi Ugraş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Cezmi Ugraş notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Star State Warriors's Ahmet Bedri Nuralp. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Star State Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Ugraş came free, but Ahmet Bedri Nuralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. US Città di Palermo's Alperen Turhan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezmi Ugraş in the 43rd minute of play. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alperen Turhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Cihat Ergüven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Bedri Nuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güneş Kara was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Vedat Zübeyir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Bedri Nuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Cezmi Ugraş capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cezmi Ugraş really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 56 minutes into the match, Star State Warriors's goalkeeper Ahmet Bedri Nuralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alperen Turhan. Star State Warriors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Erdem Sonay scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Bedri Nuralp, making the score, 0-6. If Cezmi Ugraş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes of play, US Città di Palermo's Cihat Ergüven made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, US Città di Palermo's Alperen Turhan got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alperen Turhan in the 70th minute. If Alperen Turhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Cihat Ergüven ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. After 79 minutes, Bora Serimer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Star State Warriors and the US Città di Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Mehmet Emre Münir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Bedri Nuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezmi Ugraş in the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Star State Warriors defense, Alperen Turhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Bedri Nuralp. The Star State Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Bedri Nuralp should have stopped the shot. US Città di Palermo played a much better game than Star State Warriors and deserved their victory. The Star State Warriors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
