After a defensive mix-up in MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's zone, Abuzer Egelioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Holmberg came out of the goal and Abuzer Egelioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Mitxaut came free, but Tommy Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altay İzmirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Näver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Naim Mürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Mariano Mitxaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Altay İzmirli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Hufenstuhl, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tommy Holmberg made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Enkel Seger sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Näver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's Mats Näver ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Altay İzmirli. Altay İzmirli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Mitxaut in the 55th minute of play forced MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's goalkeeper Tommy Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, PursH's goalkeeper Altay İzmirli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Hufenstuhl. Naim Mürsel might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Holmberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naim Mürsel ran back to his position shaking his head. Abuzer Egelioğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Holmberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Rocco Siffredi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907's Tommy Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abuzer Egelioğlu in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Hufenstuhl got free with Altay İzmirli in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Holmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907 defense, Abuzer Egelioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Holmberg. The MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Holmberg should have stopped the shot. Tommy Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Mitxaut in the 80th minute of play. Jannich Helbrandt charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jannich Helbrandt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, PursH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jannich Helbrandt to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Burç Atılay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Altay İzmirli skillfully saved the ball. In the 95th minute Mariano Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PursH fans cheered their team off the field, for while MaCiRaN RepubliC 1907 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
