Kubilay Tercan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmiro Pello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kubilay Tercan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 played minutes ZONGULDAK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Hakkı Dengizer. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ahmet Nedim Yiğit took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mehmet Oğuz Özerk to make any attempt to save it. Ferdi Øssurson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Mehmet Oğuz Özerk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nedim Yiğit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, ZONGULDAK's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Özerk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haşim Muhsin. Alpertunga Mennan's late challenge caught a ZONGULDAK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alpertunga Mennan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ZONGULDAK booed when KARADENİZ FIRTINASI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. There was no doubt that KARADENİZ FIRTINASI were the better team. KARADENİZ FIRTINASI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
