In the 15th match minute, Büyük Türkiye Cumhuriyeti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osman Süvarioğlu to maneuver through the defense. Uğur Çanak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Alaaddin İlenç made a huge save. With a little luck, Sokağın Çocukları's Alaaddin İlenç got control of the ball when Uğur Çanak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Resulhan Masuk during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sokağın Çocukları were furious when Ahmet Çağrı Saltukalp was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee ignored Sokağın Çocukları's protests and gave Sakarias Olsmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Sakarias Olsmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Olsmann in the 44th minute of play forced Büyük Türkiye Cumhuriyeti's goalkeeper Hakkı Kenan Şenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
