Spectators: 7714 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lütfü İlkan kicked off to start the match. Lütfü İlkan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th minute, FC Rumble's Andaç Işılay seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andaç Işılay the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Rumble protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andaç Işılay had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Van. Kutay Fırat stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yıldıray Temur. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Seçkin Zafer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Asım Arif Şimşektürk, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilmi Ayyıldız in the 16th minute of play forced FC Rumble's goalkeeper Yıldıray Temur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Hamdi Özdener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yıldıray Temur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bektaş Tigin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Van's Nizam İlkcan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Olcay Türel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asım Arif Şimşektürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. FC Rumble's Yıldıray Temur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilmi Ayyıldız in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Hilmi Ayyıldız managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Van's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilmi Ayyıldız was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Nizam İlkcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Van and the FC Rumble players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nizam İlkcan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Erdal Karan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rumble's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Van the free kick. The supporters of Van booed when FC Rumble was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdal Karan didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Van's Hamdi Özdener in action when he in the 44th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 47th minute, Bektaş Tigin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Rumble players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Van were winning 0-2.

Emin Gök hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Emin Gök managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rumble's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emin Gök was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Rumble's Emin Gök got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seçkin Zafer in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asım Arif Şimşektürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84thth minute of the game Seçkin Zafer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Van's Asım Arif Şimşektürk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asım Arif Şimşektürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seçkin Zafer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Van's zone, Bektaş Tigin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asım Arif Şimşektürk came out of the goal and Bektaş Tigin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd match minute, FC Rumble was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emin Gök to maneuver through the defense. Van's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
