Gani Baldemir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alaaddin İlenç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilmi Ayyıldız made a kick off. Sakarias Olsmanns short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Asım Arif Şimşektürk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After taking down the ball on Sokağın Çocukları's corner Süruri İmge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Asım Arif Şimşektürk quite easily take care of the ball. Şamil Uzsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Arif Şimşektürk having to interfere. Sokağın Çocukları were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
