Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lütfü İlkan to make the kick off. Francesco Taglieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Yıldıray Temur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hikmet Uluçam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erland Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Yıldıray Temur made a huge save. Yıldıray Temur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Taglieri in the 64th minute of the match.
