Pedro Augusto Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Can Oğuzbay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Renaud Grandpré cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Can Oğuzbay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 7 played minutes Gölcükspor got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Bedri Keskiner. Gölcükspor were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after GTA sk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Bedri Keskiner took the corner. Orkun İsmail could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Bahattin Balaban made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, GTA sk's goal looked a bit too open when Renaud Grandpré came free, but Can Oğuzbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GTA sk booed when Gölcükspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renaud Grandpré didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, GTA sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahadırhan Mutluer to maneuver through the defense. Can Oğuzbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağatay Kuyas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Renaud Grandpré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Can Oğuzbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gölcükspor's Neymar Mbappè was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Can Oğuzbay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the game, Gölcükspor's Ahmet Bedri Keskiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Can Oğuzbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The wind increased when Kubat Aktay made the kick off in the second half. When Çağatay Kuyas came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Gölcükspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağatay Kuyas couldn't finish the play. Can Oğuzbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaud Grandpré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Çağatay Kuyas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Can Oğuzbay saved GTA sk from getting behind. Can Oğuzbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağatay Kuyas's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Bahattin Balaban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orkun İsmail in the 56th minute of the match. Gölcükspor's Çağatay Kuyas suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cemil Seyyid hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Can Oğuzbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lütfi Ankara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cemil Seyyid kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Orkun İsmail kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Can Oğuzbay made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Renaud Grandpré sent off a good shot on target. After 66 minutes GTA sk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Bedri Keskiner who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Leontin Zăhărescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gölcükspor's Bahattin Balaban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kubat Aktay in the 69th minute of play. Can Oğuzbay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lütfi Ankara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. In the 79th minute Lütfi Ankara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Can Oğuzbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lütfi Ankara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gölcükspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Lütfi Ankara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Can Oğuzbay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renaud Grandpré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Can Oğuzbay having to interfere. Can Oğuzbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lütfi Ankara in the 92nd minute. GTA sk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kubat Aktay in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute of the match GTA sk got a corner. Gölcükspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kubat Aktay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gölcükspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
