With a couple of smart ball manuevers İhsan Sehriyar in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şaban Kıncal saved Erzurumspor from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, Erzurumspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gazanfer Ungur to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İhsan Sehriyar to make the kick off.
