The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Cumhur Akbilge got free with Bertil Kilström in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes, Liazus's Anıl Cenk Zorbey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertil Kilström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liazus reached it. Red Devils F.C's Mehmet Şefik Tolunay quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Anıl Cenk Zorbey, made in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liazus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Kağan Gerdaneri was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Devils F.C's players had a chance to rest. Anıl Cenk Zorbey tried in the 96th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Levent Sabahaddin a with quite unnecessary self made goal.
