Güneş Özsungur charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güneş Özsungur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Güneş Özsungur. After some careless play in the Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü defense, Atilio Aquino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yılmaz Özberk. The Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yılmaz Özberk should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hayri Hızarcı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Yılmaz Özberk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yılmaz Özberk came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Kusadasi's Kadim Pekalp. But to his dismay, Kadim Pekalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 13 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncer Uluberk came free, but Yılmaz Özberk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Güneş Özsungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuncer Uluberk scored 0-4 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yılmaz Özberk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Kusadasi's Jonas Granström made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yılmaz Özberk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's Yılmaz Özberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilio Aquino in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Kusadasi's Jonas Granström made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yılmaz Özberk was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Abay Torcan fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's protests and gave Abay Torcan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kusadasi booed when Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abay Torcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilio Aquino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yılmaz Özberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hayri Hızarcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuncer Uluberk in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yılmaz Özberk saved Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tuncer Uluberk to make the kick off. Yılmaz Özberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilio Aquino, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kusadasi's Tomas Valler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yılmaz Özberk. That made the score 0-9 after 53 minutes of play. Yılmaz Özberk made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Atilio Aquino sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Tuncer Uluberk made a precise shot to the right of Yılmaz Özberk. Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. 60 minutes into the match, Kadim Pekalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yılmaz Özberk, 0-11. Güneş Özsungur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Maubert having to make a save. Kusadasi made a substitution. Mürsel Tenzil replaced Tarkan Sargın. In the 71st minute, Kusadasi's Tuncer Uluberk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. In the 76th minute, Kusadasi's Ahmet Hayri Hızarcı dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. After having played for 79 minutes, Güneş Özsungur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güneş Özsungur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's Yılmaz Özberk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü from getting a goal against them. In the 82ndth minute of the game Tuncer Uluberk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's Yılmaz Özberk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kadim Pekalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yılmaz Özberk having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Kusadasi's Atilio Aquino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yılmaz Özberk. Yılmaz Özberk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. Yılmaz Özberk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer Uluberk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's Yılmaz Özberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilio Aquino in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Tuncer Uluberk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yılmaz Özberk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Valler took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yılmaz Özberk. Yılmaz Özberk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-17.
