Yılmaz Özberk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Korgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Yılmaz Özberk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ant Peyam in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Samsun Karşıyaka FC's Behçet Korgan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yılmaz Özberk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Behçet Korgan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 30th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arda Ozan Zahir in the 37th minute of play forced Fenerbahce Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Yılmaz Özberk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Ant Peyam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0.
