But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhsin Çağaçar couldn't finish the play. Tuncer Tekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Önder Kaçan having to interfere. Vello Randveer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruhi Özgenay, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes, Akın Yılma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the By Cengafer and the Tc3 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akın Yılma was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tc3 made a substitution. By Cengafer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nazım Ozaner ran over to the corner to take the kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in By Cengafer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Önder Kaçan had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Nazım Ozaner's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 40 minutes into the match, By Cengafer's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Kalemba came free, but Önder Kaçan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Ozaner in the 41st minute of play forced By Cengafer's goalkeeper Önder Kaçan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Asrın Tutkun came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tc3 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asrın Tutkun couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Nazım Ozaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Önder Kaçan. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruhi Özgenay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nazım Ozaner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 60th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Özdemir Geçim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tc3's supporters rose to their feet, but Özdemir Geçim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Önder Kaçan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
