In the 4th minute, Taslicay SK's Mustafa Birol Gümüş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mecnun Umurbay. Mecnun Umurbay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Galatasaray FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Serbülent Garipoğlu 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 11 minutes into the game, Taslicay SK's Serbülent Garipoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mecnun Umurbay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gökay Torhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaspar Bretzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Gürhan Akkuş fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray FK's protests and gave Gürhan Akkuş a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Galatasaray FK got a freekick which was hit by Gürhan Akkuş. A collision led to Taslicay SK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Serbülent Garipoğlu hit a great ball. Gökay Torhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaspar Bretzel in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Galatasaray FK booed when Taslicay SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahim Saraç didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlyas Yavuzer in the 24th minute of play forced Taslicay SK's goalkeeper Gökay Torhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Vahdet Karaca put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gökay Torhan. In the 33rd minute, Kaspar Bretzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gökay Torhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Mustafa Birol Gümüş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galatasaray FK's Mecnun Umurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serbülent Garipoğlu in the 40th minute of play. Gökay Torhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaspar Bretzel in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaspar Bretzel was the one to do the kick off. Taslicay SK's Gökay Torhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Taslicay SK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Taslicay SK's Rahim Saraç got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Galatasaray FK's Mustafa Anıl Habiboğlu was substituted for Alkın Kaymaz. The supporters of Taslicay SK booed when Galatasaray FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürhan Akkuş didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Galatasaray FK's goal looked a bit too open when Serbülent Garipoğlu came free, but Mecnun Umurbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Vahdet Karaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serbülent Garipoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 minutes, Berkay Kirtekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray FK and the Taslicay SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Taslicay SK booed when Galatasaray FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkay Kirtekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Galatasaray FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Fahri Salur to maneuver through the defense. Serbülent Garipoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mecnun Umurbay having to interfere. The throw-in from Berkay Kirtekin in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Taslicay SK's Güray Sadreddin. Kaspar Bretzel hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Mustafa Birol Gümüş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mecnun Umurbay skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray FK's zone, Serbülent Garipoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mecnun Umurbay came out of the goal and Serbülent Garipoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Galatasaray FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ali Azer to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Serbülent Garipoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Taslicay SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Haydar Sağan to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Taslicay SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
