The referee ignored Levent FK's protests and gave Yavuz Bülent Çimen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Yavuz Bülent Çimen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Asım Arif Özertan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökay Torhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taslicay SK's Mustafa Haydar Sağan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Bilge Baykutay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serbülent Garipoğlu in the 69th minute. Serbülent Garipoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serbülent Garipoğlu in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Bilge Baykutay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Levent FK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Atıf Darga. 95 minutes into the game, Taslicay SK's Serbülent Garipoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Bilge Baykutay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The Taslicay SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Taslicay SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
