Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tercüman's Tarık Refet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Tercüman defense, Neşat Vatansever kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charlie Gernberg. The Tercüman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charlie Gernberg should have stopped the shot. Charlie Gernberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neşat Vatansever's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Muharrem Rakim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Tercüman got a freekick which was hit by Tarık Refet. Tercüman's Charlie Gernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayet Kazakhan in the 17th minute of play. Resulhan Ilgın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Charlie Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Hidayet Kazakhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eregli FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hidayet Kazakhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Eregli FK's Muharrem Rakim made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charlie Gernberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Tercüman's zone, Muharrem Rakim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Gernberg came out of the goal and Muharrem Rakim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Neşat Vatansever left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eregli FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 43rd minute Neşat Vatansever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Tercüman's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayet Kazakhan came free, but Charlie Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resulhan Ilgın took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charlie Gernberg. Charlie Gernberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neşat Vatansever made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Mehmet Fatih Tavgaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neşat Vatansever, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 58th minute Resulhan Ilgın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selçuk Ekemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Gernberg having to interfere. Tercüman's Charlie Gernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neşat Vatansever in the 64th minute of play. If Muharrem Rakim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abbas Sertuğ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tarık Refet hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muharrem Rakim got free with Charlie Gernberg in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eregli FK's Neşat Vatansever got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Resulhan Ilgın in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charlie Gernberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tercüman's goalkeeper Charlie Gernberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arın Ferhat Kamran's late challenge caught a Eregli FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arın Ferhat Kamran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Arın Ferhat Kamran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Resulhan Ilgın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Charlie Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eregli FK's Hidayet Kazakhan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charlie Gernberg. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Eregli FK's Neşat Vatansever got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Charlie Gernberg. When the final whistle sounded Eregli FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tercüman.
