Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 13th minute, Resulhan Ilgın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neşat Vatansever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nurkan Haylaz having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Eregli FK got a freekick which was hit by Hidayet Kazakhan. Hidayet Kazakhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Muharrem Rakim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serhat Kayacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giray Ongay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resulhan Ilgın got free with Nurkan Haylaz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Afşin Ongen fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's protests and gave Afşin Ongen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Ankara Gençlik ve Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşin Ongen to maneuver through the defense. Neşat Vatansever was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Eregli FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giray Ongay to make the kick off. Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Nurkan Haylaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resulhan Ilgın in the 54th minute of play. Neşat Vatansever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nurkan Haylaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Aykutalp Uzlet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Resulhan Ilgın came free, but Nurkan Haylaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Abbas Sertuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serhat Kayacan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eregli FK's Hidayet Kazakhan got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Hidayet Kazakhan off the ground. In the 81st minute, Hidayet Kazakhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eregli FK's Serhat Kayacan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Eregli FK from getting a goal against them. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After having played for 91 minutes, Resulhan Ilgın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
