Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lennart Arumeel got the match started through his kick off. Gladiators of Darkness's Lennart Arumeel got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Arumeel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Yusuf Stegen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lennart Arumeel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiators of Darkness's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Arumeel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yusuf Stegen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Mierzejewski in the 12th minute of play forced Gladiators of Darkness's goalkeeper Ove Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yusuf Stegen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Arumeel in the 19th minute. The supporters of San Diego FC booed when Gladiators of Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp Hallaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ove Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Talip Ecemiş in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Ziemowit Bendyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. With his leg Yusuf Stegen managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Gladiators of Darkness's Lennart Arumeel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lennart Arumeel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Yusuf Stegen made a huge save. In the 40th minute Akın Tunçboğa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Semail Özbir took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Nordström. Ove Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 45th match minute, San Diego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Mierzejewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Berat Baliç sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yusuf Stegen skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dainius Bagdonas made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Berat Baliç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiators of Darkness and the San Diego FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gladiators of Darkness! The audience thought a goal was coming when Semail Özbir got free with Ove Nordström in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Dainius Bagdonas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ove Nordström to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the game, Lennart Arumeel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiators of Darkness's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Diego FC the free kick. A collision led to Gladiators of Darkness getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lennart Arumeel hit a great ball. Ove Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dainius Bagdonas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Gladiators of Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Semail Özbir came free, but Ove Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gladiators of Darkness's Ove Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Bourasseau in the 67th minute of play. When Semail Özbir fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Diego FC's protests and gave Semail Özbir a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the match, Gladiators of Darkness's Lennart Arumeel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yusuf Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ove Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dainius Bagdonas in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiators of Darkness's zone, Dainius Bagdonas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Nordström came out of the goal and Dainius Bagdonas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gladiators of Darkness booed when San Diego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dainius Bagdonas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Gladiators of Darkness's Lennart Arumeel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yusuf Stegen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Arumeel in the 86th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Gladiators of Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Berat Baliç. When Talip Ecemiş came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the San Diego FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Talip Ecemiş couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, San Diego FC's Dainius Bagdonas got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 96th match minute, San Diego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talip Ecemiş to maneuver through the defense. San Diego FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
