Yeşilova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GaLaTaSaRaY the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Yeşilova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Öksak to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes of play, GaLaTaSaRaY's Korcan Sezginay made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, Akgün Ferhat notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Yeşilova's Halil Utku Yalçınkaya. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dong Wen Xuan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 29 played minutes GaLaTaSaRaY got a freekick which was hit by Mümin Uğurtay. A collision led to Yeşilova getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sermet Uruk hit a great ball. Yeşilova's Halil Utku Yalçınkaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Yeşilova from getting a goal against them. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Viana in the 33rd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, GaLaTaSaRaY's Beppe Fracassi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Erendiz in the 42nd minute of play. GaLaTaSaRaY were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Yeşilova's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Beppe Fracassi took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Yeşilova's goalie and right to Adnan Bürgehan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Yeşilova's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 46th minute, Arın Erendiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Yeşilova's goal looked a bit too open when Akgün Ferhat came free, but Halil Utku Yalçınkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GaLaTaSaRaY's Gunnar Lahe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save GaLaTaSaRaY from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the game, Korcan Sezginay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arın Erendiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Köksal Vefai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Yeşilova's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Viana came free, but Halil Utku Yalçınkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Viana in the 65th minute of play forced Yeşilova's goalkeeper Halil Utku Yalçınkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Akgün Ferhat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Korcan Sezginay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halil Utku Yalçınkaya. Yeşilova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korcan Sezginay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 73 minutes into the game, GaLaTaSaRaY's Arın Erendiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 75 minutes into the game, Akgün Ferhat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Viana in the 79th minute of play forced Yeşilova's goalkeeper Halil Utku Yalçınkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Viana in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Utku Yalçınkaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well done corner resulted in Ege Faydalı drilling the ball in to score 8-0 behind Yeşilova's goalkeeper. Halil Utku Yalçınkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korcan Sezginay, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Beppe Fracassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Yeşilova defense, Dong Wen Xuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halil Utku Yalçınkaya. The Yeşilova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Utku Yalçınkaya should have stopped the shot. Eusébio Viana scored 10-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halil Utku Yalçınkaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the GaLaTaSaRaY players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
