MahmutbeySK's Gökay Yöntem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koppány Danka in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Artvin's Menderes Memduh made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gökay Yöntem was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Gary Lineker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökay Yöntem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gökay Yöntem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th match minute, MahmutbeySK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadim Şahinkan to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Koppány Danka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gökay Yöntem. MahmutbeySK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koppány Danka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. After a defensive mix-up in MahmutbeySK's zone, Gary Lineker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökay Yöntem came out of the goal and Gary Lineker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Artvin were the better team. Artvin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
