GK16's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bilge Tunçkılıç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Tolgan in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Resulhan Saim made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cacık Spor booed when GK16 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Gündüz Tolgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Cacık Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asrın Akkan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Cacık Spor defense, Zdzislaw Bochinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bilge Tunçkılıç. The Cacık Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bilge Tunçkılıç should have stopped the shot.
