Tarkan Öztay hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catalpinar JK's goalkeeper Isaac Olentzaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Tolga Ünal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Olentzaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Taha Bakırcı made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ahmet Ziya Ergönül sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
