To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Konyaspor AŞ.'s Atilla Timurkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birsel Saygur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Birsel Saygur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merih Ulukaan in the 35th minute. NeonNeon's Birsel Saygur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Lucaci in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ahmet Refik Lokman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birsel Saygur was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Lucaci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The NeonNeon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birsel Saygur should have stopped the shot. Birsel Saygur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merih Ulukaan in the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Konyaspor AŞ.'s Ahmet Refik Lokman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birsel Saygur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After having played for 74 minutes, Paul Lucaci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konyaspor AŞ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Lucaci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Paul Lucaci notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of NeonNeon's Birsel Saygur. Birsel Saygur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
