The supporters of Rizegücü booed when Gölpazari JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burç Kuman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gürcan Usalan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gani Ünsaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Müjdat Zeval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Latif Şengil hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gölpazari JK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Çağatay Yönet hit a great ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Mahsun Pozan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rizegücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahsun Pozan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gani Ünsaç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gürcan Usalan having to make a save. 48 minutes into the game, Rizegücü's Yusuf Vargın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gürcan Usalan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edip Başesgi was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Gani Ünsaç kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gürcan Usalan. That made the score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gölpazari JK's goalkeeper Gürcan Usalan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gani Ünsaç. Gölpazari JK's Gürcan Usalan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Gölpazari JK from getting a goal against them. When Gölpazari JK's Arın Günay in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rizegücü's goalie prevented a goal. Gürcan Usalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahsun Pozan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With an all-out effort, Rizegücü's Gürcan Usalan threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gani Ünsaç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Arın Günay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arın Günay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Edip Başesgi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Latif Şengil kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Yusuf Vargın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürcan Usalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gölpazari JK's Latif Şengil got a free kick in the 98th minute. In the 99th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Mahsun Pozan hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. The Gölpazari JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rizegücü were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
