Rizegücü's Serhat Pektaşi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derviş Şemseddin in the 6th minute of play. Haşim Şahruh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Vargın in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Gani Ünsaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haşim Şahruh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, NİĞDE FK's Derviş Şemseddin got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Derviş Şemseddin managed to get in a good position for a shot. NİĞDE FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Derviş Şemseddin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serhat Pektaşi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serhat Pektaşi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derviş Şemseddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rizegücü's goalkeeper Serhat Pektaşi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Rizegücü got a freekick which was hit by Gani Ünsaç. NİĞDE FK's Haşim Şahruh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gani Ünsaç in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mahsun Pozan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rizegücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahsun Pozan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haşim Şahruh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 39 minutes, Gani Ünsaç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rizegücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gani Ünsaç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gani Ünsaç in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haşim Şahruh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Derviş Şemseddin sped through Rizegücü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serhat Pektaşi. If Mahsun Pozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in NİĞDE FK's zone, Mahsun Pozan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Şahruh came out of the goal and Mahsun Pozan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind NİĞDE FK's goalkeeper Haşim Şahruh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gani Ünsaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gani Ünsaç's late challenge caught a NİĞDE FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gani Ünsaç helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rizegücü's Gani Ünsaç got a free kick in the 69th minute. Haşim Şahruh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gani Ünsaç in the 77th minute. After 79 minutes, Gani Ünsaç made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. NİĞDE FK's Haşim Şahruh tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gani Ünsaç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Haşim Şahruh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Koray Cesman hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Haşim Şahruh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahsun Pozan in the 91st minute of play. Serhat Pektaşi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derviş Şemseddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Mahsun Pozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rizegücü's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
