An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Orhan Hicab in the 6th minute of play forced Rizegücü's goalkeeper Serhat Pektaşi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Okan Kutel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rizegücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kahramanmaras SK the free kick. Okan Kutel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Özden Adıgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Kutel in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, one of Kahramanmaras SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kahramanmaras SK. In the 22nd minute, Yenal Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özden Adıgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gani Ünsaç in the 31st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Kahramanmaras SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mahsun Pozan came free, but Özden Adıgün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Namık Türcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Pektaşi having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bayezit Nefi made a kick off. Halil Can Umay struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Özden Adıgün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rizegücü. Bayezit Nefi took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serhat Pektaşi. Serhat Pektaşi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bayezit Nefi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Nathan Murray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kahramanmaras SK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kıraç Ersever hit a great ball. After 93 minutes, Gani Ünsaç made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Kahramanmaras SK's Özden Adıgün tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Kahramanmaras SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rizegücü's performance. The match ended with a win for Rizegücü.
