In the 3rd minute, TÜRKYURDU's Florin Dobrea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baki Hacıoğlu. Baki Hacıoğlu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Baki Hacıoğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Árpád Szigethy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 6 minute of play. Árpád Szigethy came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baki Hacıoğlu could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Aynacı in the 12th minute of play forced TÜRKYURDU's goalkeeper Atilla Kağan Onuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Aziz Aynacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Kağan Onuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baki Hacıoğlu was a little too slow when Árpád Szigethy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. Mehmet Arif Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Mehmet Arif Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Kağan Onuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ArtvinHodspor's Baki Hacıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ArtvinHodspor from getting a goal against them. Hugo Ekström charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ekström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute of the match Sungurbey Sönmezalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Atilla Kağan Onuk skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Arif Sarper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of TÜRKYURDU booed when ArtvinHodspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saruhan Uğurlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baki Hacıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Árpád Szigethy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andaç Özilhan in the 54th minute of play forced ArtvinHodspor's goalkeeper Baki Hacıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ArtvinHodspor's Baki Hacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Árpád Szigethy in the 57th minute of play. Baki Hacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Árpád Szigethy in the 64th minute of the match. Árpád Szigethy took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baki Hacıoğlu. Baki Hacıoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Baki Hacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Árpád Szigethy in the 77th minute of the match. Baki Hacıoğlu came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by TÜRKYURDU's Florin Dobrea. But to his dismay, Florin Dobrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. In the 82nd minute, Sertel Yamanöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andaç Özilhan took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baki Hacıoğlu. Baki Hacıoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. 91 minutes into the match, Florin Dobrea notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of ArtvinHodspor's Baki Hacıoğlu. Baki Hacıoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sertel Yamanözs short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Atilla Kağan Onuk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Berke Tanyolaç kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. ArtvinHodspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
