The supporters of TÜRKYURDU booed when Pasabahce FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Árpád Szigethy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Şanver Kortan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Romeo Furman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilla Kağan Onuk made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kurniawan Wahono sent off a good shot on target. Kurniawan Wahono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Atilla Kağan Onuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Andaç Özilhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Romeo Furman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Acar Cengel fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TÜRKYURDU's protests and gave Acar Cengel a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes TÜRKYURDU got a freekick which was hit by Acar Cengel. 38 minutes into the match, TÜRKYURDU's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Akif Bender came free, but Atilla Kağan Onuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şanver Kortan in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Akif Bender was the one to do the kick off. If Mehmet Akif Bender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Civanbaht in the 52nd minute of play forced TÜRKYURDU's goalkeeper Atilla Kağan Onuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Árpád Szigethy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Furman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TÜRKYURDU's zone, Sungur Civanbaht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Kağan Onuk came out of the goal and Sungur Civanbaht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Pasabahce FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ali Baran Aydın fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Romeo Furman made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Şanver Kortan sent off a good shot on target. Romeo Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şanver Kortan in the 61st minute. Atilla Kağan Onuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Akif Bender in the 63rd minute of the match. The corner led Pasabahce FK's Necati Özdemir to fire away a dangerous shot which Atilla Kağan Onuk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Şanver Kortan scored 1-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Furman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Árpád Szigethy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mehmet Akif Bender came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Pasabahce FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Akif Bender couldn't finish the play. Sungur Civanbaht might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atilla Kağan Onuk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sungur Civanbaht ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pasabahce FK's Mehmet Akif Bender in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Pasabahce FK and the TÜRKYURDU players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceyhun Nesim kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Akif Bender in the 87th minute of play forced TÜRKYURDU's goalkeeper Atilla Kağan Onuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Baran Aydın, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Sungur Civanbaht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TÜRKYURDU walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
