An unexpectedly hard shot by Batu Cem Uluberk in the 7th minute of play forced VanSpor's goalkeeper Metehan Üngörmüş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Mustafa Arif Dikici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metehan Üngörmüş was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Batu Cem Uluberk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Batu Cem Uluberk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. VanSpor's Metehan Üngörmüş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batu Cem Uluberk in the 20th minute of play. Metehan Üngörmüş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to VanSpor getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Murathan Kayacan hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Servet Toprak put in a rough tackle. But to his dismay, Mustafa Arif Dikici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 71 minutes into the match, VanSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Cem Uluberk came free, but Metehan Üngörmüş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OTUZYEDİ were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after VanSpor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mustafa Arif Dikici took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ataman Gençoğlu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. İshak Özdek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If İshak Özdek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VanSpor's Metehan Üngörmüş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafer Özbilir in the 95th minute of play. After a rather tough play, OTUZYEDİ's Hilmi User got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The OTUZYEDİ fans cheered their team off the field, for while VanSpor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
