Ali Kaan Arslanoğlu hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Şimşek Saraçoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Turhan in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Van Spor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Şakib. Ramón de Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şimşek Saraçoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón de Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. Şimşek Saraçoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın Turhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Arın Turhan sped through Van Spor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Şimşek Saraçoğlu. Van Spor's Şimşek Saraçoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arın Turhan in the 30th minute of play. Şimşek Saraçoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Turhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GALATASARAY SK fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when GALATASARAY SK's Ramón de Sena looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. GALATASARAY SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
