If Arif Memduh Nabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Camargo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aytuğ Kelim to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Genç Oğlanlar's Aytuğ Kelim got control of the ball when Engin Kurboga tried to sneak it across the goal line. During this time Mechanic Athletic Club's players had a chance to rest. Mechanic Athletic Club's Baycan Saru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aytuğ Kelim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 18 minutes into the match, Genç Oğlanlar's goalkeeper Aytuğ Kelim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Memduh Nabi. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Arif Memduh Nabi took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Aytuğ Kelim to make any attempt to save it. Aytuğ Kelim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Çağrı Peyam in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Sílvio Luiz Camargo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aytuğ Kelim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute, Ahmet İlke Pekalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Aytuğ Kelim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Genç Oğlanlar's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Memduh Nabi came free, but Aytuğ Kelim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Mechanic Athletic Club booed when Genç Oğlanlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökalp Perker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Sílvio Luiz Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytuğ Kelim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genç Oğlanlar's Aytuğ Kelim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Camargo in the 35th minute of play. In the 39thth minute of the game Sílvio Luiz Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Genç Oğlanlar's Aytuğ Kelim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aytuğ Kelim made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Arif Memduh Nabi sent off a good shot on target. Aytuğ Kelim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Camargo in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Sílvio Luiz Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytuğ Kelim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 47th minute of the match Ahmet İlke Pekalp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet İlke Pekalp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ahmet İlke Pekalp hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arif Memduh Nabi was the one to do the kick off. Genç Oğlanlar's Aytuğ Kelim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Memduh Nabi in the 54th minute of play. Aytuğ Kelim came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi. But to his dismay, Arif Memduh Nabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Sílvio Luiz Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aytuğ Kelim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Kemal Tuğtaşı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Elg having to interfere. If Arif Memduh Nabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Çağrı Peyam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aytuğ Kelim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aytuğ Kelim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Engin Kurboga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aytuğ Kelim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Camargo in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Camargo in the 76th minute of play forced Genç Oğlanlar's goalkeeper Aytuğ Kelim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, Mechanic Athletic Club's Arif Memduh Nabi made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aytuğ Kelim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Genç Oğlanlar's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Camargo came free, but Aytuğ Kelim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytuğ Kelim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Engin Kurboga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aytuğ Kelim was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Engin Kurboga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechanic Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Engin Kurboga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aytuğ Kelim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aytuğ Kelim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Memduh Nabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Aytuğ Kelim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Memduh Nabi in the 96th minute of the match. Aytuğ Kelim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Camargo in the 97th minute of play. Mechanic Athletic Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
