The supporters of KALESPOR booed when Yatagan Futbol Akademi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilla Tekinel didn't get a good kick on the ball. KALESPOR's Cezmi Çinucen got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ahmet Asım Afacan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Davut İhtiyar. Cezmi Çinucen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Davut İhtiyar having to interfere. Yatagan Futbol Akademi's Ahmet Davut İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezmi Çinucen in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Yatagan Futbol Akademi's goal looked a bit too open when Cezmi Çinucen came free, but Ahmet Davut İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Ahmet Asım Afacan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yatagan Futbol Akademi's Ahmet Davut İhtiyar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Özden Saye took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivar Olle. Ivar Olle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özden Saye to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Yatagan Futbol Akademi's goalkeeper Ahmet Davut İhtiyar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezmi Çinucen. After a rather tough play, Yatagan Futbol Akademi's Atilla Tekinel got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ahmet Asım Afacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Davut İhtiyar having to interfere. Cezmi Çinucen scored 2-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Davut İhtiyar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Özden Saye came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Yatagan Futbol Akademi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özden Saye couldn't finish the play. Özden Saye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ivar Olle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özden Saye in the 77th minute of play forced KALESPOR's goalkeeper Ivar Olle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yatagan Futbol Akademi were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after KALESPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdi Saygın Acabay took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Kadri Kutberk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Atilla Tekinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivar Olle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özden Saye in the 82nd minute of the match. Atilla Tekinel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ivar Olle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Yatagan Futbol Akademi got a freekick which was hit by Şükrü Vurgun. After a defensive mix-up in Yatagan Futbol Akademi's zone, Mathias do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Davut İhtiyar came out of the goal and Mathias do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cornelio Kemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Kemen got free with Ahmet Davut İhtiyar in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Özden Saye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Olle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KALESPOR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
