The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ant Nevzat hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Galip İmamoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökmen Çoğa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Santos to maneuver through the defense. Çanakkale's Gökmen Çoğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hólmfastur Óskarsson in the 34th minute of play. Gökmen Çoğa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hólmfastur Óskarsson went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Salih Kaveloğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İsmail Cem Eroğlu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Çanakkale's Sedat Özender got a free kick in the 65th minute. Çanakkale's Gökmen Çoğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hólmfastur Óskarsson in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Çanakkale's goal looked a bit too open when Hasret Önel came free, but Gökmen Çoğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökmen Çoğa was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Şeray Zeyyat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Şeray Zeyyat really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5.
