The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Erdem SK defense, Carl Dahlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ensar Selman. The audience was convinced that Krzysztof Gieraltowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ensar Selman was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Ensar Selman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Gieraltowski in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Cebrail Akyol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akarsenal fk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Krzysztof Gieraltowski scored 0-9 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ensar Selman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ensar Selman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alemdar Yoran in the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Alemdar Yoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ensar Selman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Akarsenal fk were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Gieraltowski was the one to do the kick off. Erdem SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alemdar Yoran 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Krzysztof Gieraltowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ensar Selman. That made the score 0-12 in the 58 minute of play. After 61st play minutes Krzysztof Gieraltowski shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Ensar Selman and just under the crossbar into goal. 63 minutes into the match, Erdem SK's goal looked a bit too open when Cebrail Akyol came free, but Ensar Selman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Gieraltowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ensar Selman. Erdem SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krzysztof Gieraltowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. After 69 minutes, Faik Bahçıvan made it 1-14 with a short kick to the right side. Akarsenal fk's Talat Özdurdu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ensar Selman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alemdar Yoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Akarsenal fk's Cebrail Akyol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-16. In the 81st minute, Erdem SK's Bülent Mukremin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bülent Mukremin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Erdem SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bülent Mukremin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Erdem SK! In the 85th match minute, Akarsenal fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfü Baykal to maneuver through the defense. Cebrail Akyol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ensar Selman having to make a save. Ensar Selman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cebrail Akyol went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-18 was the resulting score. If Krzysztof Gieraltowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akarsenal fk's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
