The supporters of Erdem SK booed when BartuFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencalp Ökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Süruri Şemsifer in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ensar Selman saved Erdem SK from getting behind. Faik Bahçıvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Tepedino having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

After 58 minutes, Ahmet Kutsi Ruzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erdem SK and the BartuFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Ahmet Kutsi Ruzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdem SK's Ensar Selman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Erdem SK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Erdem SK's Ferman Regaip got a free kick in the 64th minute.
