In the 38th minute, Balamir Girgin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yunus Yürük was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Balamir Girgin could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Yunus Yürük however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

There was no doubt that Tokat Gençlik Spor were the better team. Tokat Gençlik Spor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
