In the 14th minute of the match Aybars Mukerrem sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asım Arif Okcun skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vatan Mert sped through Maltepegenç's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asım Arif Okcun. When Hüsmen Eygül fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maltepegenç's protests and gave Hüsmen Eygül a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Maltepegenç getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hüsmen Eygül hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Maltepegenç's goal looked a bit too open when Vatan Mert came free, but Asım Arif Okcun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maltepegenç's goalkeeper Asım Arif Okcun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Vatan Mert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Asım Arif Okcun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asım Arif Okcun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Mert in the 55th minute of play. Vatan Mert hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Vatan Mert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asım Arif Okcun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOZAĞAÇSPOR's Aybars Mukerrem was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Asım Arif Okcun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. KOZAĞAÇSPOR were furious when Seyrani Uzalp was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 63rd minute, one of KOZAĞAÇSPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KOZAĞAÇSPOR. Maltepegenç's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazil Açıkgöz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gökhun Evcimen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maltepegenç's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökhun Evcimen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necati Ünsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melik Sungurbay during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, KOZAĞAÇSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melik Sungurbay to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Maltepegenç's goalkeeper Asım Arif Okcun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nizam Nizam. The Maltepegenç fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KOZAĞAÇSPOR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
