Sinan Koçak's late challenge caught a KOZAĞAÇSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tokat Gençlik Spor's Saadettin Hatim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrezzak Kadrettin in the 7th minute of play. Saadettin Hatim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Mert in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tokat Gençlik Spor defense, Yiğit Tanırer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saadettin Hatim. The Tokat Gençlik Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saadettin Hatim should have stopped the shot. If Vatan Mert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Nizam Nizam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saadettin Hatim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vatan Mert's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Onur Ali Okuyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Saadettin Hatim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, KOZAĞAÇSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Egemen Ünseven came free, but Necati Ünsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Onur Ali Okuyan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. KOZAĞAÇSPOR's Necati Ünsi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save KOZAĞAÇSPOR from getting a goal against them. Şemsettin Tara scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Necati Ünsi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balamir Girgin got free with Necati Ünsi in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Onur Ali Okuyan kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Necati Ünsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şemsettin Tara, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şemsettin Tara made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Balamir Girgin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of KOZAĞAÇSPOR's Necati Ünsi. Necati Ünsi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saadettin Hatim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vatan Mert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Vatan Mert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saadettin Hatim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Cihan Terim kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Balamir Girgin struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Necati Ünsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tokat Gençlik Spor. Saadettin Hatim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Mert in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Tokat Gençlik Spor booed when KOZAĞAÇSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onur Ali Okuyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KOZAĞAÇSPOR players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Tokat Gençlik Spor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
