Şemsettin Tara started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, MaRaBa's goalkeeper Ferenc Sóti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balamir Girgin. 12 minutes into the match, MaRaBa's goal looked a bit too open when Şemsettin Tara came free, but Ferenc Sóti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balamir Girgin scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferenc Sóti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şemsettin Tara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ferenc Sóti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferenc Sóti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şemsettin Tara, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şemsettin Tara in the 25th minute of play forced MaRaBa's goalkeeper Ferenc Sóti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balamir Girgin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Saadettin Hatim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kürşat Hicabi in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MaRaBa's Emin Halıcı got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ferenc Sóti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Şemsettin Tara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. The supporters of MaRaBa booed when Tokat Gençlik Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurkan Razi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alpertunga Hamurcuoğlu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Saadettin Hatim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaRaBa. Sinan Koçak charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sinan Koçak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferenc Sóti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şemsettin Tara in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şemsettin Tara in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferenc Sóti saved MaRaBa from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Balamir Girgin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferenc Sóti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to MaRaBa getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alpertunga Hamurcuoğlu hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, MaRaBa's goal looked a bit too open when Sinan Koçak came free, but Ferenc Sóti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, MaRaBa's Ramazan Tekinsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saadettin Hatim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferenc Sóti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balamir Girgin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferenc Sóti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şemsettin Tara in the 59th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Nedim Ünsever mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MaRaBa and the Tokat Gençlik Spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes MaRaBa got a freekick which was hit by Nedim Ünsever. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balamir Girgin in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Sóti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th match minute, MaRaBa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Saadettin Hatim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramazan Tekinsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Suphi Baycan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tokat Gençlik Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaRaBa the free kick. A collision led to Tokat Gençlik Spor getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Suphi Baycan hit a great ball. If Ramazan Tekinsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MaRaBa's Ferenc Sóti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suphi Baycan in the 75th minute of play. Sinan Koçak scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferenc Sóti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tokat Gençlik Spor's Balamir Girgin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Nejat Alp Çiltay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tokat Gençlik Spor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaRaBa the free kick. After 89 played minutes Tokat Gençlik Spor got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Alp Çiltay. Tokat Gençlik Spor were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after MaRaBa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sinan Koçak took the corner. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tokat Gençlik Spor fans cheered their team off the field, for while MaRaBa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
