Ramazan Tekinsoy started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Vatan Mert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Alpertunga Hamurcuoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MaRaBa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KOZAĞAÇSPOR the free kick. A collision led to MaRaBa getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alpertunga Hamurcuoğlu hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Vatan Mert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Rami. MaRaBa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vatan Mert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vatan Mert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ildefonso Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vatan Mert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Rami having to interfere. Ildefonso Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Mert in the 18th minute of the match. KOZAĞAÇSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nadir Ulusu in the 20th minute. After taking down the ball on KOZAĞAÇSPOR's corner Nadir Ulusu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ildefonso Rami quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Ramazan Tekinsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Rami stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vatan Mert's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Ramazan Tekinsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tolga Özgu made a huge save. Vatan Mert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ildefonso Rami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Rami was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Onur Ali Okuyan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Mert in the 42nd minute of play forced MaRaBa's goalkeeper Ildefonso Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Mert in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, KOZAĞAÇSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Nedim Ünsever came free, but Tolga Özgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, KOZAĞAÇSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Ulusu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half KOZAĞAÇSPOR were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vatan Mert to make the kick off. Vatan Mert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ildefonso Rami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Vatan Mert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Rami having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Vatan Mert put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ildefonso Rami. Abdurrezzak Kadrettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, KOZAĞAÇSPOR's Vatan Mert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Rami made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 64th minute of the match, Vatan Mert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ildefonso Rami saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ildefonso Rami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Mert in the 66th minute of the match. Yiğit Tanırer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ildefonso Rami firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Mert in the 79th minute of play forced MaRaBa's goalkeeper Ildefonso Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, KOZAĞAÇSPOR's Vatan Mert made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Rami was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vatan Mert in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Rami saved MaRaBa from getting behind. MaRaBa's Ildefonso Rami proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save MaRaBa from getting a goal against them.
