The corner ended in Tevfik Çavas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ÇALIMLI's Birkan Yağın did a great save. When Barnabé Amice came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ÇALIMLI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnabé Amice couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ÇALIMLI getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Jacinto hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Barnabé Amice ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dursun Dikmen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamit Acabay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamit Acabay in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birkan Yağın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, ÇALIMLI's Doğan Zakir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Birkan Yağın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamit Acabay in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Barnabé Amice had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dursun Dikmen. Şahmat Donetsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnabé Amice was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. İsmail Hakkı Makbul's late challenge caught a ÇALIMLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İsmail Hakkı Makbul helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Zülfü Dicle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Doğan Zakir reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dursun Dikmen. The goal made the score 0-6. Hamit Acabay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ÇALIMLI eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
